- Generate personalised tarot readings and AI-powered interpretations using AI
- Sync your readings, journal entries and preferences across devices
- Manage your token balance, subscription status and in-app purchases

- Improve and develop new features based on aggregated usage patterns

4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database service provided by Google LLC. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL and at rest using Google's infrastructure-level encryption.
We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Your data is stored on servers located in Asia (India region). By using NeoTarot, you consent to your data being stored in these locations.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Trusted third-party services that help us operate the App (e.g., Firebase, Google Cloud, AdMob for advertising). These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.
- AI Services: The content of your reading queries may be processed by our AI provider to generate responses. Only the query text is shared — no account identifiers are linked.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order or government authority.
- Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before this occurs.
6. Advertising
The free tier of NeoTarot displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show relevant ads. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by adjusting your device's advertising settings. Premium subscribers receive an entirely ad-free experience.
7. Children's Privacy
NeoTarot is rated 18+ due to the nature of tarot and spiritual content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete that information.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data ("Right to be Forgotten")
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format

- Your profile, readings and journal entries are permanently deleted within 30 days
- Aggregated, anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely
- Legal and financial records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable law
10. Cookies & Local Storage
The NeoTarot mobile app uses local device storage (SharedPreferences) to store your settings, token balance and session data locally on your device. This data does not leave your device except as described in this policy.
We do not use cookies in the traditional web sense within the mobile app.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
